Let's get this OVER with!!

This 30 day challenge kept my attention for about 3 days....

Let's nip this thing in the bud!

Day 22 - What makes you different from everyone else:

I have EXTREMELY tiny pinkies.

yep.

My favorite day was at the temple when I went through for the 1st time. In the pretty white room (that's what I like to call it.) a lady related to Brandeis, (I think it's like his great aunt? not sure.) came up to me and grabbed me hands and said, "You have the tiniest hands.." then she turned to Brandeis and continued, "you take care of these tiny hands."

It was great. It is funny how people notice.

Day 23 - Something you crave for a lot

Chocolate. 24 7. I wish it was like a vegetable. I NEED CHOCOLATE every second of the day.... i am trying to hurdle over this habit I have had since the womb by chewing gum. I rarely chew gum but I am hoping it will stop me!

Day 24 - A letter to your parents

Hey Mom and Ron!
You guys are the best parents in the whole entire world. I am so grateful to have you as my parents. You worked so hard to make my wedding perfect! I love how everyone still talks about how pretty it was. Ron, that is because you didn't sleep for months because you were worried about it! You have raised me into the most stubborn selfish spoiled young lady and I don't mind. :) I have taken so many different traits from both of you.. Mom, I guess the word on the street is we look alike.... but hopefully i won't have to draw in my eyebrows one day! You lil mexican you! ;) but I hope one day I can be as talented as you. I want to be able to sew and make things like you do. You are sooo creative! You are such a perfectionist and I just wish I was... Ron, I guess I got my love for food, chocolate and animals from you... Yay? Also, you have made me very spoiled and stubborn...thanks! :)

I think you both rock! I love having you in my life!

Day 25 - What I would find in your bag

My wallet, cellphone (in front pocket), my ipod, chap stick, a pen or two..., gum (to kick my chocolate habit), my ring box for the ring brandeis just bought me..it's too small., tissue for Sunday's in the nursery, lotion,

and candy wrappers... :(

Day 26 - What you think about your friends

Well most of my friends have been around since middle school or before...crazy huh? Brandeis has been around since I was 18. 4 years ;)

I have met so many people since high school that are my new friends. I like them more, haha jk. I like them all! I am closer to some than others and I don't mind that. I enjoy just having a few friends rather than a million. Hence how i delete people from Facebook a lot due to the fact that I don't have as many friends as FB tells everyone!

Day 27 - Why are you doing this 30 day challenge:

I thought it would be fun and something to write about besides me always babbling about how much I love my husband.

Blah blah blah.

Day 28 - A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then?

I guess I have settled down :( sad day. haha

I use to go out EVERY night and never sleep. I kissed LOTS of boys and now I only kiss one...haha jk...or am I? I am not sure.

I would go to dance parties a lot. I love being cramped and sweaty and feelin the beat. haha.

I miss those days, but I have to say being married is 100% better. I love the surety it gives me. I know what I am doing in life now and I never have to guess who I am going to marry ever again. No more wasting my time. Everything is an "us" now and I love it!

Day 29 - In this past month, what have you learned.

I have learned that families are forever. Also, recently I was informed that my mother in law likes me! Good news! It made my day. :)

Day 30 - Who are you?

That is simple.

 I am a nursery leader to 45 kids....AH!

Day 18 - Plans/dreams/goals you have

Plans: We have decided to make a list of all the places we want to visit...in the U.S.A. and out! I feel like 1 or 2 trips whether they are big or small every year will be worth it!

Dreams: I want to retire. It is weird to think that as the economy isn't doing too hot that there is a good chance that if I don't personally save then I won't be able to retire. So I dream that one day I will retire. Save Save Save!

Goals: My goal is to be a skinny mom. A mom that runs around with her kids and plays all day! I just want to be healthy and in good shape. =D

Day 19 - Nicknames you have; why do you have them.

Peanut or Pea: My mommy called me Peanut as a child since I loved PB&J, but my brothers then transformed it to Pea...or Pee.... it was torture.

JerBear: It rhymes. I know. As a child I thought my Uncle Gerry stole my nickname.

Fajer: Fat As A Jer... yep. Thanks friends Sophomore year. It still makes me laugh..Pretty much it's because I eat a lot... =D

Jer: I love when people call me Jer, but you have to be in the cool group to be allowed.

4 Months of being a Mrs.

Yep, We hit that Yesterday! How crazy. Life goes by so fast, but I feel like we have been married forever...it drags, haha jk! :)

So for our anniversary we bought a new showerhead....why you ask?

Picture Brandeis (fully clothed of course..) in the shower. The shower head is about to his neck. Therefore, he has to bend over to get it to hit the top of his head. Sad day, i know. So our new shower head is a dual showerhead! It has one that goes high up and one a little lower (a little lower than a normal one) and they meet in the middle of the stream. It is sooo great, and the tall one detaches. I love love love it! It is the first time where I feel like I get a good stream on my head! Since I am so short I usually only get the remains of the water (or lack of) and by the time it gets down to me, it is barely strong enough to wash my hair...so I tend to stand on my tippy toes....

In the end, I am glad we have a new one! Best purchase yet! :)

Day 12 - How you found out about blogs and why you made one

I have always have had something where I typed up my thoughts. I started with Livejournal.com then I stopped for awhile then I noticed everyone getting a blog (everyone meaning people that got married) and I thought "hey! why not get a blog before I get married?!" So i jumped on the bandwagon. 

Day 13 - A letter to someone who has hurt you recently.

Dear Knees,

       Oh Hey, I know we aren't friends, but technically we will be together forever. I know it is cold outside and you tend to bug me more and more as the weather drops, but Don't Hate on me! I need you to buck up and keep on keeping on! We can do it if we do it together! One day, we will be in Heaven and you and I will be best friends again, but until then just make it through the next few years until I can get you fixed.

Day 10 - Songs you listen to when you are 

Happy, Sad, Bored, Hyped, Mad

Happy: I love oldies. Foreigner, Boston, Styx, The Carpenters, Journey. I feel on my happy days I love to sing their songs! On Jango, you can choose what year to listen too.... It is the greatest. 

Sad: My brother Brandon tells me it makes him want to hit his head on the dashboard but I listen to Dashboard Confessional, Secondhand Serenade, Augustana..ect..

Bored: Taylor Swift. She gets me thinking, mainly cause I can play all her songs on the guitar so it makes me play the air guitar (not good while driving)

Hyped: Eminem or Ludacris fo sho. I love rappin to Luda. He is great. and Eminem is who every white boy inspires to be like, so do I. 

Mad: I don't listen to music when I am mad. I just cry. So lets go back to the genre "sad".

Day 08 - Short term goals for this month and why

Lose weight? That is so lame. So my new goal as of 2 seconds ago is to get to work 5 min early everyday! I am the office manager at a law firm/ trust group and I have to turn on the lights and unlock the doors...I tend to get here right at 7 am.... I feel the need to be ready by then and not scrambling to get everything in order. That shouldn't be so hard, right?!?

Day 09 - Something you’re proud of in the past few days.

I have manned up/grown a pair. I have wanted to leave Victoria's Secret for about a month now, but I am too big of a baby to tell them adios! So last night, I was sooo tired from working at my main day job and VS calls and I had to work from 5pm-12am(usually 12:30 or later by the time we are done). I had just work from 7-4 and I was beat. So, I grew a pair, called them and said, "PEACE SUCKERS!!" okay...jk, I was nicer than that, but man oh man!! I feel the blessings pouring. Now I can spend more time with Brandeis and go to bed at a decent time....PLUS. CHRISTMAS! I was going to have to work this year.... crappy right? So I am extremely proud of myself for quiting! :)
